Dear Customers

We are very sad to leave Dalby, but our lease ran out at midnight on March 31st.

As some of you may know we have had to re-tender to carry on the business at Dalby. Following concerns from other tendees, members of the local community and the general public at large, regarding the fairness and transparency of the tender process, the Forestry Commission have consented to re-run the process for the Bike Centre.

As far as we know this will mean that there will be no bike hire or services etc at Dalby over the Easter period and beyond. We offered to provide services on a temporary basis but the Forestry Commission turned down the offer.

The FC are not currently offering a re-tender for the Cafe in the Courtyard, this is due to be taken over by Eurest, who already run Tree Tops at the Visitor Centre. We have enquired of a Eurest staff member  when operations will start but received the reply “no idea”.
